Weee plant

The FORREC plant for the processing of WEEE foresees a productive cycle able to process any type of disused electric and electronic equipment belonging to the R2, R3 and R4 families.
The management process combines the use of manual labour and automation in order to maximise the use of all components reducing waste with zero impact on the environment.

Subsequent to an initial manual selection stage to control the inward flow, the material is managed using two special blade grinders which "open" the appliances without altering the components to be recovered. The first defines a large piece for the separation of the larger components such as electrical wires, hard disks, control boards and the second allows for the selection of the smaller components such as batteries, small engines and condensers.

The final stage of the process is completely automatic. Material which is not selected in the previous stages is reduced into uniform pieces measuring 30 mm and is subsequently separated into three main categories: ferrous, non-ferrous and plastics.
The use of the machines at low rotation, supported by soundproof panels and the suction plant, consents compliance with the regulations in force in terms of noise levels and dust emissions.
