The Evolution of Conveyor Belts

Forrec launches the production of conveyor belts with overlapping metal slates, an evolution of conveyors used with rubber covers to date. The aim is to offer a more versatile and trustworthy solution.

The special characteristic of this new kind of conveyor belt is its innovative slate coupling system without slots. This avoids loss of the transported product, even in the case of materials of small dimensions, granules, shavings and powders.

An additional advantage exists when comparing with rubber conveyors; rubber is a material that damages and deteriorates over time. It also does not allow for oily products to be handled. With this new system, wear and tear can be avoided and there are no warnings against corrosive material processing.
