Thailand: waste as a resource

The South-East Asian market proved to be the revelation of 2016 for Forrec. The local presence of a qualified and efficient partner gave the right importance to the professionalism and technology offered by Forrec and applied to the selection and treatment of municipal solid waste.

Two lines have already been produced and will be delivered in the month of December, with another 4 lines expected for 2017: these are complete systems intended to clear landfill sites. They comprise the multi-crusher in the FR5000 series (the largest model in the range), sieves with discs selection for separating the organic part and for calibrating the output product in less than 100 mm.

The end user of the product is one of the largest cement works in Thailand, which will use the product as fuel.

This type of treatment, similar to the project that Forrec has already proposed and installed in Mexico, has proven to be effective and innovative in terms of the technology applied and purchase and management costs. Such added value makes it a top product in the Forrec range, which will surely attract the interest of many countries.
