Efficient copper recovery from electric cables

Maximizing the value of electrical waste

FOR REC has always been involved in the treatment of electrical and electronic waste. From this process emerged the need for proper management of electrical cables. The company has therefore designed a line, already in its range, aimed at the valorization of this waste material.

This new line consists of a primary shredder, a single-rotor grinder, granulator, turbine and separation systems, accompanied by an efficient and modern suction and filtration system meeting the most stringent European regulations in the field of emissions.

Quality and purity of recycled copper above 99%

Efficient recycling

The copper separated from the recycling line is clean and 99.7 percent pure, while the plastic is screened so that it is free of copper residue and reusable. In addition, these plants have passed numerous tests, proving their effectiveness also for the treatment and refining of electric motors, again aimed at copper recovery.

FOR REC’s primary shredders involved in this process provide capacities ranging from 500 kg to 10 tons/h, ensuring maximum processing power and flexibility.

Twin-Shaft Shredders designed to achieve precise volumetric reduction and roughing of the material, with partial control of the output size

SINGLE-SHAFT GRINDERS COMPACT AE

The AE grinder is a compact and durable machine for pre-grinding electronic boards, electrical cables and plastics. The machine provides precise granulation and prepares the material for further processing.
