From May 4 to 7, 2026, FOR REC will renew its presence at IFAT Munich, the world’s leading event for environmental technologies and waste treatment, taking place at the Munich Trade Fair Center.
IFAT is one of the most important international showcases for the recycling and sustainable materials management industries, attracting operators, professionals, and decision-makers from around the world. A strategic event to address current and future challenges of the circular economy and to discover the most innovative technological solutions.
FOR REC technologies in the spotlight
At Stand #B6-311, FOR REC will present some of its flagship technologies, focusing on two key pillars of its offering.
The spotlight will be on the MR2000 single-shaft shredder, designed for processing particularly tough, high-density, and highly abrasive materials such as end-of-life tires, cables, and electric motors. This machine fully embodies FOR REC’s design philosophy: structural robustness, mechanical reliability, and low-speed operation, ensuring component durability, high-quality output material, and operational continuity.
Alongside solutions for industrial waste treatment, special attention will be given to the new processing line for end-of-life photovoltaic panels, developed to address an emerging global challenge. FOR REC lines are designed to process various types of panels—both intact and damaged—ensuring high separation efficiency and the recovery of valuable materials such as glass and silicon, thus actively contributing to a sustainable and profitable circular economy model.
A benchmark for recycling
Every FOR REC solution is developed using a custom-made approach, starting from the customer’s real operational needs and the specific type of material to be processed. This design methodology enables the creation of tailor-made machines and systems that combine high performance, long-term reliability, and optimized operating costs.
The FOR REC technical team will be available to visitors to discuss applications and solutions for the treatment of municipal and industrial solid waste, illustrating the company’s design approach and technological choices adopted in different plant configurations.
