In an ever-changing world, the production and use of electronic and technological devices is strongly increasing. In particular, the growth in the production of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), electric motors and photovoltaic panels has led to an exponential increase in the need to find sustainable solutions for their disposal and recycling. These materials, if not treated properly, can generate significant environmental impacts, including risks of pollution and waste of valuable resources.
To meet these challenges, it is essential to implement advanced recycling facilities that can recover raw materials with high performance, reduce costs and contribute to environmental protection.
Our industrial recycling lines: innovation and performance for all materials
At the heart of our work are recycling plants designed to successfully meet the challenges of processing complex materials such as WEEE, electric motors and photovoltaic panels. Each recycling line we develop is built with advanced technology that allows us to separate and recover materials with unparalleled efficiency.
- WEEE treatment plants
WEEE installations are designed to treat a wide range of electronic equipment, from small portable devices, such as telephones and computers, to large appliances, such as refrigerators and washing machines. The materials are separated through a process that includes manual sorting, component separation, shredding and final separation into 3 main fractions: ferrous, non-ferrous and plastics. - Plants for the treatment of wires and electric motors
These plants are particularly popular because, through the treatment of materials, they manage to activate a grinding and separation process of precious materials such as copper, with a purity level of 99%. - Photovoltaic panel plants
Photovoltaic panel plants are designed to extract valuable materials such as silicon, aluminium and other metals from end-of-life solar panels. These recycling lines are capable of processing up to 4 tonnes/hour, but can be further upgraded to easily reach 6 tonnes/hour.
A successful case study: innovation serving recycling
A concrete example of our solutions is the plant we recently installed for a company in Northern Italy.
The company required to recycle a large amount of WEEE material, achieving accurate waste separation.
We therefore designed a totally customised recycling line, which includes:
- Pre-sorting system: through the use of powerful magnets, the system separates magnetic metals from non-magnetic ones, while the material is carried along by vibrating conveyors that allow the movement of the material to proceed evenly
- LC multi-cruscher: our twin-shaft shredder is specially designed for the volumetric reduction of WEEE waste and the opening of baled materials. This machine enables the processing of high material flows while maintaining extremely high performance.
- Manual sorting phase: manual sorting enables the recovery of valuable materials and the removal of unsuitable objects such as batteries and extraneous objects. Sorting is customisable by number of stations and structure.
- Hammer mill Z15: our hammer mills Z15 ensure efficient crushing of heterogeneous materials into small fragments. In addition, this machine is characterised by its robust design with easy access to wear parts for simple and immediate maintenance.
Thanks to this customised line, the company is now able to perfectly separate materials such as plastics, non-magnetic metals and the ferrous fraction, processing up to 2 tonnes of material per hour.
This installation has enabled our customer to optimise its recycling processes while guaranteeing a high quality of recovered materials and minimising waste.
